I had some scraps of fabric that appealed to me. A vibrant blue with a great woven pattern, I couldn't resist attaching it to the center of a panel. After that, the dividing line spoke to me of the sharp differences in attitudes, in people and in climates. Some of my friends are enjoying warmth and sunshine right now, while others are struggling through bone chilling cold.
You may see something else here. My son sees a midnight shoreline and prefers the painting to be rotated to the left. I'll post it that way below so you can see if you share his vision.
